A warm welcome to you at Restaurant "Zum See"!

Our Restaurant "Zum See" is located in the wonderful namesake hamlet above Zermatt. We will pamper you in the restaurant (70 places) or on the sun terrace (120 seats) of the 350 -year-old chalets in a homey atmosphere, with views of the Matterhorn and the magnificent mountain world of Zermatt.

The product range in summer and in winter an excellent gourmet cuisine with traditional and Mediterranean dishes, fine wines and an ever-attentive service.

A short or long visit at the Restaurant "Zum See" will enrich your stay in Zermatt with a special experience.

     

At the Restaurant "Zum See" we are open during the following times:

  

 

Summer season 2023 :

From the 23rd of june 2023 - 8th of october 2023

Winter season 2023/2024:

From the 8th of december 2023 - mid april 2024

For private events we are also open in the evening.

 

The restaurant "Zum See" offers the ideal setting for a private function:

Be it a wedding, a baptism, a birthday or even a corporate event - We will gladly adapt our menus to suit your personal taste.

Max & Greti Mennig and their team offer the guest of the Restaurant "Zum See" a traditional and honest cuisine.

It is prepared with only the freshest ingredients. Fine meat and fish dishes, homemade pasta and desserts are all year on the menu.

On demand the Restaurant "Zum See" can be rented in the evening for private parties, celebrations and events.

Our wine and beverage list Besides some wines by the glass, we provide a wine list with more than 40 selected positions. For every taste the right wine - red as white !

Our focus lies on the fantastic wines from Switzerland, which does not mean that lovers of French and Italian classics would come too short.

Greti presents at the beginning of each season a new and varied wine list of local specialties as well as Italian and French jewels for our guests.
